8th day. Aunsangate Mountain and 7 Lagoons – Offering like gratitude (Include Lunch and breakfast)
We cannot return home without first meeting Apu Ausangate, father of the water springs and guardian of the Celestial River. Since time immemorial, this sacred mountain has been the altar where our ancestors awakened their inner vision and left their offerings as acts of gratitude.
We will depart before dawn, heading south toward the village of Ocongate, where we will take a short break to rest before continuing on to Pacchanta, where a warm breakfast will welcome us like a small ritual of arrival.
After preparing ourselves, our journey will begin: five hours of walking under the watchful gaze of Ausangate, whose power is felt more in the heart than in the eyes. We will pass lagoons that resemble mirrors in which the mountains contemplate themselves, inviting us to contemplate our own existence.
On our return, we will enjoy the hot springs, whose deep warmth will not only relax the body but also dissolve what we no longer need to carry. After lunch, we will begin our journey back to Cusco, carrying in our hearts a seed of stillness and a silent blessing from Apu Ausangate.

AYAHUASCA CEREMONY
AYAHUASCA
Ayahuasca is an entheogenic concoction made from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the leaf of Psychotria viridis (Chacruna). It is used in traditional ceremonies among the indigenous tribes of the Amazon. Psychotria viridis contains DMT, a powerful hallucinogen, and B. caapi contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which work synergistically with DMT to produce a long-lasting hallucinogenic experience.
Ayahuasca is used as a tool for enlightenment and spiritual growth. Many who seek personal growth experiences with ayahuasca report a sense of connection and compassion with those around them. Some report spiritual awakenings that lead to long-term stable changes in perspective. This is probably the result of achieving a particularly intense level of introspection that leads to deep self-awareness and clarity regarding personal issues and belief systems. Dennis McKenna also cites ayahuasca's ability to make users feel more interconnected with the natural world as a possible avenue by which discussion of environmental conservation efforts can be elevated and expanded.
