Munayki Journeys – Shamanic Journeys in the Andes invites you to be part of this beautiful Healing Journey (11 day/10 night), a journey designed to heal from the inside out. We will visit sacred places built by our ancestors in the Land of the Incas, places that will help us connect our being with the Great Spirit, Pachamama (Mother Earth), and each of the elements — Water, Fire, Earth, and Wind.
Through reconnection exercises, meditations, and Andean and Shamanic rituals of cleansing and purification, we will prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and energetically to participate in ceremonies with Sacred Medicine. This experience will guide us on a journey deep within, walking our inner path to discover and reconnect with ourselves, awakening the healer that resides within.
Sacred Places that We Will Visit: the Sanctuary of Machu Picchu; Saqsaywaman, the House of the Sun; Tipon, the Temple of Water; the Astronomical Center of Qenqo; the Historic Center of the City of Cusco; the agricultural experimentation complex of Moray, considered a Center of Ancestral Wisdom Transmission; the archaeological sites of Ollantaytambo and Pisac; as well as natural attractions such as the Perolniyoc waterfall in the Sacred Valley of the Incas and the most powerful mountain in our region, Apu Ausangate, together with its Seven Lakes.

AYAHUASCA CEREMONIES
AYAHUASCA
Ayahuasca is an entheogenic concoction made from the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the leaf of Psychotria viridis (Chacruna). It is used in traditional ceremonies among the indigenous tribes of the Amazon. Psychotria viridis contains DMT, a powerful hallucinogen, and B. caapi contains monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), which work synergistically with DMT to produce a long-lasting hallucinogenic experience.
Ayahuasca is used as a tool for enlightenment and spiritual growth. Many who seek personal growth experiences with ayahuasca report a sense of connection and compassion with those around them. Some report spiritual awakenings that lead to long-term stable changes in perspective. This is probably the result of achieving a particularly intense level of introspection that leads to deep self-awareness and clarity regarding personal issues and belief systems. Dennis McKenna also cites ayahuasca's ability to make users feel more interconnected with the natural world as a possible avenue by which discussion of environmental conservation efforts can be elevated and expanded.
